Lorena Peschechera has spent eight years rebuilding hairlines in Dublin, one follicle at a time. Not a tattoo, not a hairpiece, and nobody needs to know you had it done.
No stock photography, no other artists' portfolios. Each pair below is one client, photographed in the Dublin studio before the first session and after the work healed.
Healing takes ten to fourteen days per session, and colour settles for a few weeks after that. Every photo here is healed work.
Most SMP fails the close inspection. The dots sit too dark, too even, too high on the forehead, and everyone can tell. Lorena works in layers across separate sessions, matching the depth and softness of your own stubble, and designs the hairline with the recession a man your age would actually have.
"I specifically wanted to keep a slight mature recession rather than a perfectly straight, artificial-looking hairline, and she really listened to my ideas while bringing her own expertise to the design."
Donal, Google review, five sessionsScalp micropigmentation suits a receding hairline as readily as a fully shaved head, a transplant scar or alopecia. Every treatment is quoted after a consultation, because the size of the area and the number of sessions decide the price.
Free, and no obligation to book anything. Lorena looks at your scalp, listens to what you want, and tells you honestly what she can and cannot do. You leave with a quote and a session plan.
Drawn on before a single needle is used, and adjusted until you are happy with it in the mirror. Age appropriate, softened at the temples, shaped to your face rather than to a template.
The foundation layer, deliberately lighter than the finished result. Three to four hours in the chair. You go home looking like you have a close shave coming in.
Spaced to let the skin settle. Density is built up, the hairline is sharpened, and any spots that healed lighter are filled. Most clients are finished after three sessions.
Wash normally after the first fortnight, use sun protection on the scalp, and come back for a touch-up when you feel it soften. Touch-ups start at €250.

"If it looks like a tattoo, I have not done my job."
Lorena has been doing scalp micropigmentation in Dublin since 2018, and for much of that time she was one of a handful of artists in the country doing it properly. Clients travel from Cork, Galway and Belfast to sit in her chair, and a good number come on the recommendation of a man they met who had it done.
She works alone, one client at a time, in a private studio off Dominick Street. No production line, no junior artist finishing the work. The person who designs your hairline is the person who does every session on it.
Send one photo and you get back a mock-up of your own hairline, the number of sessions it would take, and the price. It costs nothing and books you into nothing.
If yours is not here, ring the studio on 083 388 7436 and ask Lorena directly.
A consultation takes about half an hour. You will get a straight answer on whether SMP suits your hair loss, what it would take, and what it would cost. Nothing is decided on the day.
She answers her own enquiries, usually the same day. If it is urgent, ring 083 388 7436.
